OUR LADY OF SORROWS' CHAPEL
"If anyone wants to come after me, take up his cross and follow me"
How to donate? It is very simple. In case you are inspired by our chapel, offer as much as you wish. Even the smallest amounts matter a lot. Think of all the suffering caused by war, the Virgin Mary, queen of peace, standing at the foot of the cross, seeing her son giving his soul to God, his father, redeeming us from our sins.
Your support enables us to maintaine the chapel, making it available to pilgrims who come here and pray for peace.
In person
Whenever you visit the Saint Anthony's Votive Stations of the Cross of Benczúrfalva, you have the opportunity to support in cash, the amount of your convenience, for the maintenance of the chapel and for the Stations of the Cross.
You will get a receipt
and our thanks for your support.
On June 7, 2018, the construction of the chapel's round wall was completed, with the wreath on the top of the wall, which was sealed. The construction company Univerzál Kft. has done an excellent first-class job. Since then, the dome has been prepared.
The dome construction was fulfilled according to plan. Significant grants have been received. All donations made possible to have the construction finished. Furthermore support for the maintenance is needed. All support is managed by Pro Arte et Natura Foundation (www.proarte.hu).

Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts.
But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.
Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”
(Mark 12:41-44)

It is good to give out of love,
even better to give to God!
